【Installation Guide & Precautions**

1. Model Verification: This assembly is compatible with Dell Inspiron 14 2-in-1 models 7420, 7425, 7430, and 7435. It is not compatible with the standard (non-2-in-1) Inspiron 14 models or the Inspiron 14 Plus series, which use different chassis and display assemblies. Check the model number on the bottom label of your laptop before purchasing.
2. Chassis Note: The 7420 and 7425 use chassis P161G, while the 7430 and 7435 use chassis P172G. This assembly is cross-compatible across both chassis types, so no additional adapter brackets are needed.
3. Battery Disconnection (CRITICAL): Shut down the laptop and physically disconnect the internal battery cable from the motherboard before handling any display or hinge cables. Failure to do so can cause a short circuit and permanent motherboard damage.
